I spent the entire day with my favorite clients and good friends - Steve & Ashley, celebrating their engagement and shooting the photo-thon that was their engagement session. Ashley, bride-to-be, looked beautiful with her makeup and had her hair done at this swanky blow-out bar on Chestnut Hill (I will be recommending it to others!).
We drove into Boston, to the North End for the first part of the day, down by Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. The big Christmas Tree was already up and being 'operated on.' We took some photos under the trellis and the park, and made our way out to the waterfront.
I think these are some of my favorites from the day - the light was just right and the location offered some unique opportunities. I'm so glad Ashley & Steve aren't shy and didn't hold back their silly poses despite the many observers I'm sure they had.
From here, we were off to the Financial district, for some 'formal-wear' shots at Norman B. Leventhal Park. Thank you, again, Ashley & Steve for showing me some new locations for future shoots! Check out what we got:
And then, we ventured out of the city to Concord, where we stopped at Minutemen National Historic Park for some fall photos. Formal wear and all, they were at it again. Shot after shot, I this couple knows just what to do. They make my job easy. And then, it was time - time for the props and wine!
Thanks Ashley & Steve for being rock stars, and being great friends.
Congratulations on your engagement! and I can't wait to photograph your wedding!
